Item Description
Display box contains Autobot Air Guardian Jetfire (using a Super Valkyrie mecha design from the anime series Super Dimensional Fortress Macross produced by Takatoku). Early variety featuring Macross sticker logo on left wing and black line bisecting the clear cockpit dome. Hasbro, ©1984. Trademark logo, which is much rarer than the Registered logo. Original store price sticker on right side flap w/partial original store price sticker at upper right. Box has been opened at left/right. Upper and lower left corners have some adhesive residue w/1.5" tear at bottom left corner. .5" spot of tape residue on window w/tiny outward dent/hole from raised area behind cockpit. Back has 1" dia. pink sticker at lower right. Header card has been folded over w/heavy color break and exhibits slight fade to front. Front also has some scattered surface scratches at left. Box has some corner tip wear and is Fine overall. Stickers have been applied (missing used sticker sheet), but no rub sign appears on figure. Figure shows play wear w/wear to nose paint and visible wing rubs. VF overall. Missing strip overtop middle of figure. Missing 1984/85 checklist and instructions. Decoder and Hasbro catalog folder present (w/moderate wear). Among the most desirable Series 2 Transformers toys.
