4.5" long w/red and blue attached ribbons at top. A report in the Oct. 16, 1880 Sacramento Bee under the sub headline "What The Ladies Did" notes that "Considerable Progress Was Made In The Matter Of Preparing Badges. These Are To Consist Of White Ribbons Bearing General Garfield's Likeness With The Words "Sacramento Garfield Barbecue- Oct 21, 1880." A few scattered light stains in white field. Otherwise moderate handling. VF.
