Item Description
3.25" deep wood box and hinged lid 4.75x4.75". Lid is capped by chocolate brown molded thermoplastic plate recessed slightly towards the central oval around the slightly raised and nicely detailed bust portrait and name within the oval. Front edge of wood lid secures by small brass hasp. Underside stamped into wood at center "Scovill M'F'G Co. N.Y. Pat. 8-28-1877." Some light edge wear on lid w/moderate surface wear on wood components. VF.
