Item Description
1.75". No maker. Shows Jackie in his Brooklyn Dodgers uniform and this is the same photo that appears, in expanded format, on the 1948 Old Gold Cigarette advertising premium card. On this variety some of the dugout is seen behind him (another variety exists in which the bkg. is just gray, no dugout). Both are rare and sought after PM10's. Scattered oxidation on metal back. Moderate surface wear in reflected light but button remains glossy. VF. Desirable button for one of the true sports icons of the 20th century. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1962.
