Item Description
January 1962. Each artboard is 13.5x20" with art by Jack Keller. Story is "The Wall Of Doom!". Complete six page story featuring Kid Colt who helps save a fort from a Buffalo powered unstoppable Sioux battering ram. Of extra interest, page #6 has stat at bottom that contains a text ad for Fantastic Four (Marvel, 1961 series) which reads: "You've never read a comic like The Fantastic Four! Get your spine-tingling copy today!" The issue date aligns that this should be referring to issue #2 of the Fantastic Four. Kid Colt Outlaw is stat but title is hand done. Lt. aging/handling wear. Some white out use on first page and a few tape stains. Original Comic Code stamp on back. Exc. Jack Keller (1922-2003) was an American comic book artist best known for his 1950s and 1960s work on the Atlas/Marvel Comics Western character Kid Colt Outlaw.
