SIGNED BY CAPTAIN MARVEL CREATOR C. C. BECK. 10.5x14" hardcover w/240 pages collects 25-issue "The Monster Society Of Evil" Captain Marvel serial. Printed by American Nostalgia Library in 1989. Limited edition print run of 3000. Impressive bound book comes w/slip cover that has gold foil embossed Captain Marvel lightning bolt emblem. Reverse has gold foil image of Captain Marvel logo w/text "The World's Mightiest Mortal." Book comes w/5.25x6" bookplate featuring comic panel showing Captain Marvel battling his nemesis, the worm Mr. Mind. Plate has been signed in black ink by C. C. Beck. Plate notes that this is a special, even more limited edition, 33 of 500 copies w/bookplates signed by Beck. However, Beck died in Nov., 1989 and was unable to sign all 500 plates. Book was sold without plates, plates being sold separately later. Great book in NM condition.
