Item Description
6.75" long overall w/1.75" cello disc. Brass hanger at top reads "Welcome". Dated September 1906. Some fading on ribbon w/light gold letter application loss on text. Moderate wear. Faint spot at 11 o'clock on cello. Overall VF. Bryan and family traveled around the globe in 1905 and returned triumphantly in 1906 to a large crowd as the presumptive 1908 Democratic nominee. Bryan clearly had some support among the New Haven Democrats for this badge to be produced. Larry Brokofsky Collection.
