Item Description
22x28.25" cardboard poster by "Globe Poster- Baltimore". Promoting a Nov. 29 concert presented by "Sigma Phi Fraternity Tau Chapter" at the Indian Spring Country Club. Highlighted here is doo-wop group Fred Parris and The 5 Satins, known for their hit song "In The Still Of The Night," which is listed beside group photo at upper right. Shirley And Lee's biggest hit "Let The Good Times Roll" hit #1 on the R&B chart and crossed over hitting #20 on the Pop charts. Concert also featured The Heartbeats, Lee Allen and His Orchestra, The Dubs as well as Charlie and Ray, all of whom are pictured on poster w/song titles listed. Faint moisture stain along top and left edges. Top right corner bend and typical age at edges. Fine. Wonderful day-glo colors, w/split fountain blue and green bkg. colors make this a blazing eye popper on any wall.
