The back-to-basics attack helped rejuvenate the band w/bassist John Paul Jones recalling "...we remember back to what we were doing. Punk kind of woke us up again... It was about to go for a change of gears and round two." Round two was intended to be another American tour but on September 24 while rehearsing for the coming US onslaught Bonham was found unresponsive after a day of heavy drinking.
