Item Description
19-7/8x30" LetraMax board has pasted stats in mock-up of VHS promotional sheet for video stores, advertising VHS releases of films in the Friday The 13th slasher franchise. Top margin has rubylith strip w/Paramount Home Video logo and "Ad Mat - Friday The 13th Part V - A New Beginning" text. Main (front) image of mock-up features image of Jason Voorhees' hockey mask (the same one used for promotional purposes but that didn't make an appearance in the film) w/separate "Friday The 13th Part V - A New Beginning" (1985) title stat pasted above. Secondary (back) image features mock-up pasted stats showing Beta/VHS covers (larger for VHS, smaller image for Beta) for the preceding films in the horror franchise - Friday The 13th (1980), Friday The 13th: Part 2 (1981), Friday The 13th: Part 3 (1982) and Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) along w/prices ($39.95 each for first four films on VHS) while top has larger dual images of Friday The 13th Part V - A New Beginning (1985) w/higher prices of $79.95 for the then new release. Brief synopsis strip stats as well. Paper overlays attached at top. Top overlay has penciled grid note at bottom right and shows moderate wear at bottom corners. Second overlay has numerous handwritten editorial notations in felt tip pen along w/"This Print Is For Position Only - Use Artwork Supplied For Reproduction" inkstamps. Mock-up itself is Exc.
