Item Description
Pair of 2x8.5" single sided cardstock bookmarks. © Superman Inc. and issued by AEWC-WSS. First dates to Fall 1942 and features "You Can Be A Superman In 1942 - Buy Defense Stamps Every Week!" text and features full body image of Superman at right and includes calendar for Sept. to Dec. 1942. Second is variety w/"Plant A Victory Garden - Grow And Share Food" text w/smaller "Be A Superman In 1943" text at bottom right. Left has same image of Superman as 1942 bookmark, only partial image inside circle. Also includes calendar for Jan. to June 1943. Both have lines for name and are unused. Some lt. even aging but still NM overall. Both are scarce. Danny Fuchs Collection.
