Item Description
3.5x4-5/8" single-sided cardstock punch card has "South Village Whelan Drug" imprint and "Superman" comic book title/logo w/"Summer 1944" notation. The United States Treasury's War Savings Stamp Program awarded one 10¢ war stamp for every 10 punches received on punch card. Card features 10 punch circles, of which only the first three circles have been punched (third spot has been double punched). Card has .75" crease at upper right corner and two tiny spots of surface wear along top right margin edge. VF/Exc. Rare and only the fourth we've offered in our 57 years. Danny Fuchs Collection.
