Item Description
27.25x41.25" poster for the original 1954 release of Superman Flies Again (see previous lot for history of this film and four others in series). This film was compiled from the episodes "Jet Ace" (Episode 30), "The Dog Who Knew Superman" (Episode 35) and "The Clown Who Cried" (Episode 42). Components from each of these episodes are featured on the poster, which shows Superman riding jet as clowns watch from below w/inset image of dog. Each episode title appears beside the corresponding image. Poster has been folded and shows scattered wear along fold lines and at fold crease intersections, w/some paper/archival tape repairs on reverse. Poster also has a large number of pin holes scattered in margins, which has some fingerprint smudges at top left. A few scattered pin holes within image area.
