Item Description
10.5" long by 8" tall counting mounting posts. This is the larger of two sizes made by L. W. Lee Mfg. Co. c. 1946. This solid cast metal ornament was produced in a smaller size of 5.5" long by 6" tall in silver or gold luster w/this large size made in silver luster only. Great action pose of him taking off for flight w/cape flowing behind. Cape has hairline crack at/across shoulders, but remains structurally sound and firmly intact. Metal base has 1x2.5" area filled in w/plaster and painted silver to match finish. Some scattered aging. Fine overall, but makes for wonderful display w/custom marble base added for display purposes.
