Approx. 5.25" dia. embroidered patch on felt replicates cover image from Captain Marvel Adventures #27 (Sept. 1943), showing full body image of Captain Marvel throwing bomb. Dates to 1943. Some small spots of staining (to leg, bottom point of star and beside knee), o/w VF overall. Rare and just the second example we've offered in our 57 years; the other from the Harry Matetsky Collection (which sold for $1,213 in Nov. 2023).
