Item Description
This one-of-a-kind lot features art from the Fawcett Archives. 5.75x6.25" artboard w/hand-colored stat of "Capt. Marvel Club" patch that has been applied; 8x10" artboard has cut-out black mechanical art applied to it and 5.5x6-3/8" reverse negative stat all feature same design w/Captain Marvel against lightning bolt. Scattered aging and lt. handling wear. Fine to Exc. overall. Comes w/4-1/8x9.25" order slip for "Official Captain Marvel Club Emblem" w/vertical crease at center. Unused and VF/Exc. Comes w/pair of production patches that were issued as premium in 1943, both featuring same design as the later shield-shaped patch, but these rectangular versions are scarcer. Two color varieties - blue and yellow - yellow version is an even rarer color variety and the rarest of all Captain Marvel patches.
