Item Description
This version is 11-3/8x16-5/8" w/54 pages and cardboard covers. Cupples & Leon, ©1911 The New York Herald Co. Pages feature R.F. Outcault's famous Buster Brown Sunday pages that first appeared in The New York Herald newspaper. Color pages are printed on front side, w/top half of Sunday page on first sheet and bottom half on following page. Title page has specialty art of repeated from front cover. Back cover has 1.25" corner piece off. Covers are Fine overall w/just some scattered edge/corner tip wear and no significant creases. Pages have age toning but are VF overall. An above average copy of a scarce Platinum Age Buster Brown book.
