Art by Dick Ayers, Jack Kirby, Wally Wood, Chic Stone, Paul Reinman, Alex Toth, Vince Colletta, Joe Sinnott, Jay Gavin and Sam Rosen. Key first appearances of the X-Men, Magneto, Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Sentinels, Juggernaut and more. Issues have been trimmed and bound but covers/pages remain bright and clean. 16 complete issues. Spine has gold lettering "The X-Men, Issues 1-16". Pages have just lt. even aging and are off-white. Inner covers exhibit lt. edge tanning. Lt. handling wear. Issue #1 cover has some lt. spine pinch creasing visible and some lt. surface markings. Other issues may have minor defects including spine pinch creases, lt. corner creases, small edge tears on a few. Issues VG to VF as bound.
