Item Description
2.25x4.5". c. 1801-1809 during Jefferson's presidency. Signature of Thomas Jefferson at top right corner in large writing w/"By The President" below. At bottom is signature of James Madison w/his position "Secretary of State" to the right. Scattered light creasing w/moderate wear. A great historical artifact featuring the signatures of two U.S. Presidents, as well as the authors of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, respectively.
