Item Description
Lot of four items related to the Buffalo Bill's Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders of the World show. Lot includes 3-3/8x4-3/8" card features black ink signature of William Frederick Cody (1846-1917), aka Buffalo Bill, American soldier, bison hunter, showman and Wild West legend. Cody has added inscription before signing his given name and adding "Buffalo Bill" below it. Cody also dated card "1888." Some scattered aging but VF overall. Comes w/card and handwritten letter, both dated 1895 and signed by Buffalo Bill's Wild West marksman Johnny Baker. Card mentions the show and letter is on illustrated show letterhead. Folded as mailed, letter comes w/hand-addressed envelope w/matching show illustration. Some scattered aging and wear, Fine to Exc. overall.
