Spanish painter Manuel Pérez Clemente - better known as Sanjulián - is best known for his many magazine, comic and novels covers. Closely associated w/Vampirella (the vampire superhero from the planet Drakulon), Sanjulián began his career w/her publisher Warren Publishing in 1970. Offered here is a large and impressive framed painting by Sanjulián, black ornate frame w/size measuring 21.5x31.25". Oil on canvas original art has been professionally and attractively double-matted to 9x14.5" and features full body image of Vampirella striking an irresistible come-hither pose. Gold plate added to mat with "Vampirella, Sanjulián". Sanjulián has signed art at lower right. Striking art fit for the cover of any Warren magazine. Exc. and ready for display.
