Item Description
11.25x16.5" DC Comics artboard features original artwork pencils by Irv Novick and inks by Joe Giella for page 36 of "Superman-Ehapa Quarterly" #12, published in English for German distribution by DC Comics in 1988. Art features large splash page of Superman in space, observing immense spaceship orbiting Earth (which has screentone accent), it's surface being worked on by several small robots. Page has two inset panels, top left is pasted stat while lower right is original art. Superman dominates page and appears in both inset panels. Title and issue/page number have been handwritten at top margin and lower right margin has small cut out strip of stiff paper added to margin. Signed at bottom right margin by Giella. Small spot of tape staining at upper left corner but art is o/w clean and displays Exc. Bill Byers Collection.
