From same series as previous lots. Addie Joss enjoyed a brief but breathtaking Major League baseball career from 1902-10, all with the Cleveland ball club. Joss finished with a 160-97 career won-loss record along with one of the lowest career ERA's in baseball history at 1.89 and remains the all-time MLB leader for career WHIP at 0.968. Addie was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1978. Remains clean w/strong, bold image and has great eye appeal despite the grade of 2 Good. PSA census indicates that only 11 examples of this supplement have ever been graded by PSA with only three graded higher than the offered specimen. One of the keys in the Sporting News set. This is fresh to the market, as are the following six lots.
