Item Description
11.5x16.75" artboard contains original pencil and ink art for the cover of Wacky Races #4, published Aug. 1971 by Gold Key Comics. Art by Jack Manning. Great image featuring Dick Dastardly and Muttley from the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon, hanging from the moon and thumbing for a ride while the Creepy Coupe flies above a stacked pile-up of cars (Compact Pussycat on top, Bulletproof Bomb, Arkansas Chugga-bug, Turbo Terrific, The Crimson Haybailer and Army Surplus Special on the bottom). Lt. aging/wear. Paper shows some lt. tanning next to margin as once framed. Still Exc. Gary and Dawn Guzzo Collection.
