Item Description
This ring was a premium from National Chicle Gum and is advertised on the included gum wrapper noting is was available for 75 coupons to be cut-out and sent to the company. Underside of the ring is inscribed "14 K White Gold Finish." Elaborate design w/guns on sides, ring top has an eagle above "Deputy" badge w/star at center. The white gold finish wore off very rapidly and most examples have some noticeable degrees of loss. This example has near full luster w/some small traces of patina. Still a NM example for this ring and about as nice as they come. 5x6.75" glassine wrapper for series of Tom Mix gum booklets. Booklet cover example at center along w/image of the Deputy ring. All over scattered wear w/creases and few tiny tears but still VG and a nice compliment to the ring. Robert M. Overstreet Ring Collection.
