Item Description
PLEASE NOTE - RING CONDITION IS AS DESCRIBED. WHAT YOU SEE IN OUR PHOTO (ESPECIALLY IF ENLARGED) IS NOT WHAT IS SEEN BY THE NAKED EYE. THE HIGH QUALITY OF THE PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE AMPLIFIES EVEN THE MOST MINOR IMPERFECTION. LOOKING AT THE ITEM IN PERSON AND UNDER NORMAL VIEWING CONDITIONS, LITTLE TO NONE OF THIS IS EVIDENT. WHEN WE GIVE A RING LIKE THIS A HIGH GRADE, THAT IS THE ACCURATE GRADE AND A MORE TRUE ACCOUNT OF THE ITEM AS SEEN IN THE CATALOG PHOTO.

This ring is known to have been designed by the famous radio premium creator Orin Armstrong working for the manufacturer Robbins Co. in 1940. The firm specialized in premiums and particularly in rings. Despite the great design and concept, this ring was rejected and never put into production at that time. However elements of this ring design appeared with later premium rings for both Lone Ranger and Orphan Annie. Band has stars and chevrons. Removable top has raised eagle. Underside of this compartment has real photo of The Lone Ranger w/©1939 The Lone Ranger Inc. Mounted to the top of the ring base, under the compartment, is photo of Silver. Ring has trivial wear only seen under magnification. Near full bright luster. NM. Only four examples are known to exist. An exceptional rarity for Lone Ranger and premium ring collectors. Robert M.
