Item Description
Premium ring from the early 1950s is yellow plastic (also done in red) w/green "Space Patrol" insert in reverse lettering for use as stamp. Comes w/separate and seldom seen 5/8" dia. circular yellow plastic container which pops open and contains a black ink pad. Ring top was applied to the ink pad and then the words "Space Patrol" could be stamped on paper. Ink pad is dried out as expected and the black ink very slightly discolored the side edge of the yellow compartment but the ring itself is NM w/no traces of black ink stains. Ring on its own is rare, w/pad even more so. One of the few complete examples we've offered in our 57 years. Robert M. Overstreet Ring Collection.
