Item Description
4x6x1" deep illustrated box contains a basic version of gun. Daisy set No. 96, 1940. Box is evenly aged and shows moderate wear w/two missing inner flaps. One main panel has 1.5" line puncture. VG overall, but opposite side remains nice for display. 5-7/8" long pressed steel "Daisy Cinematic Picture Pistol" does not feature Superman image or futuristic barrel tip. Scattered traces of surface oxidation. VF. Set was issued w boxed filmstrip sets 195 and 205, containing six different Superman filmstrips. Gun contains single Superman strip as issued - titled Remaking A Heavyweight Champ. Film is Exc. Original instructions are heavily worn w/many small tears and tattered appearance, but Superman image is intact. Fair. Harry Matetsky Collection.
