Lot of four 1940s pieces, including pair of synthetic fabric children's ties, each w/different silk-screened design of Captain Marvel above his name. Tie w/standing Captain Marvel image has evenly aged w/some scattered darker aging to image, but o/w clean and VF. Tie w/Captain Marvel in flight image has some lt. aging and is VF overall. Ties are scarce and come w/2-5/8x8.5" order slip for Captain Marvel ties, w/"Captain Marvel Club" address. Slip features illustration of boy wearing tie w/standing Captain Marvel image. Unused and Exc. Rare. 2.5x3.75" illustrated display card holds 2-3/8" embossed brass tie bar w/high relief detailed portrait of Captain Marvel flanked by his name.
