Item Description
Anglo-American Publishing was a Canadian comic book publisher during the World War II era, publishing Canadian creations as well as Canadian re-workings of scripts bought from American publisher Fawcett Comics. Offered here is a near set of nine premium 3x4-5/8" glow-in-the-dark cloth patches. Characters featured include - Captain Marvel, Commander Steel, Terry Kane and The Hurri-Kane, Freelance, Red Rover, Dr. Destine - Criminologist, Kip Keene and The Purple Rider. Captain Marvel patch has even aging and single pin hole at top center. VF while rest remains crisp and clean. All are Exc. to NM and all still glow. While we have offered the Captain Marvel patch a few times in our 57 years, most of the others are the first example we've offered in our 57 years.
