Item Description
Kit No. 485-149. ©1966 Weston Merchandising Corp. Great design featuring Godzilla at the wheel of a tricked-out hot rod w/fish grille and parachute. Near complete w/original issue instructions that are lightly aged w/few pencil marks. VF. Box lid shows lt. corner tip/edge wear, some moderate side creasing and small edge tears. Box bottom has some aging/wear and a few tape pieces but remains tight. Displays VG. Model parts are mostly removed from sprues and rebagged, model is near complete (missing one rear hubcap, one exhaust half) and all pieces are original vintage issue. A few defects include chassis frame rail crack, tie rod has mis-molded end piece and one helmet half has missing chin strap end. Otherwise pieces display as Exc. Very nice example of one of Aurora's rarest kits. A must for the Godzilla completist! Only second we have offered in any level of completeness and equally rare as the King Kong Thronester, see next lot.
