Item Description
Kit No. 484-149. ©1966 Universal Pictures Co., Inc. Great design featuring King Kong at the wheel of a tricked-out hot rod w/crown hubcaps and throne styled seat. Complete w/original issue instructions that are lightly aged w/small spot of dried glue. VF. Box shows lt. corner tip/edge wear, some lt. creasing, one small lid edge tear. Box bottom has some age spotting but remains tight. One inner corner shows sign of minor glue repair at seam. Fine. Model displays nicely w/minimal paint. Wheels are glued in place. Aside from piece #11 (brace) missing, model is complete and all pieces are original vintage issue. Displays as Exc. Very nice example of one of Aurora's rarest kits. A must for the King Kong kompletist! First we have offered in any level of completeness and equally rare as the Godzilla's Go Cart, see previous lot.
