Item Description
While this is just the lid and back side panels, any portion of the box is incredibly rare w/only one complete box known to exist. Boxes were actually meant to be dismantled as the bottom panel had a picture of Superman that was to be given to the person who bought the last piece of gum (as detailed twice on the lid itself). Overall size is 5.75x12.5". Main panel is the lid w/die-cut Superman image, attached to this is bottom flap and back box panel w/Superman logo. This back panel piece has jagged edge at right. Lt. creases at lower left. Still bright and clean w/strong color. An exceptional display piece as is. Fine. Danny Fuchs Collection.
