1967 TOPPS KRAZY LITTLE COMICS TEST SET CGC GRADED.

2.5x3.5". Set of 16 miniature eight-page comic books. ACC# R711-23. Issued in 1967 as a test set only and never saw full distribution. Topps spoofed some of the biggest names in comic books and pop culture in these comics as well as having parody ads on the back covers. Titles such as "The Amusing Spider-Guy" and "Badman With Ribbon The Boy Blunder" should give you an idea of the nature of this issue. The other spoofed characters are: Marvel Comics- Thor, Hulk, Capt. America, Fantastic Four, Sub-Mariner; DC Comics- Superman, Wonder Woman, JLA, Flash; as well as: Tarzan, Prince Valiant, Mandrake, Lone Ranger, Phantom. This series featured the talents of comic legends Roy Thomas, Wally Wood and Gil Kane. The CGC grades for the set breakdown as follows- 8 NM-Mint(1), 7 NM(1), 6 EX-NM(2), 5 EX(6), 4.5 VG-EX+(1), 4 VG-EX(1), 3.5 VG+(3) and 3 VG(1).
