Item Description
8x10" two-sided sheet. This promotes the set of five large premium pictures (see next two lots). Not only were these issued prior to the 1940 Gum Inc. Lone Ranger card set, they feature art that was not reproduced on any of those cards. The five pictures are featured on the front of the sheet in an overlap design. The back has detailed text to "Boys And Girls...Friends Of The Lone Ranger" noting how the pictures were obtained (they were available in different configurations, from individually for five Lone Ranger bubble gum wrappers and 3¢, up to a complete set of five for 25 wrappers and 10¢). Moderate handling wear w/scattered creases. Few small and neat tear repairs at lower right. Wear more evident on back than front which has great color and design. VG. Rare, we have only offered a few of these in our 57 years. John Grossman Collection.
