Item Description
Set of five 8x10" pictures on card stock w/choice art. ACC# R83-2. ©Lone Ranger Inc. Not only were these issued prior the the 1940 Gum Inc. card set, they feature art that was not reproduced on any of those cards. Pictures are: #1 Tonto Saves The Lone Ranger (variety w/mask overprint on LR), #2 The LR Licks Lester, #3 The LR Rescues Joan At The Pit, #4 Tonto Fights Off The Troopers, #5 The LR Foils A Murder. All are text back varieties that include info pertaining to that particular picture scene, list of all five titles and information on how these were obtained. The pictures were available in different configurations, from individually for five Lone Ranger bubble gum wrappers and 3¢, up to a complete set of five for 25 wrappers and 10¢. All exhibit some degree of aging and margin/corner tip wear. #3 has more notable margin creases and wear, Good. Rest are overall VG-EX. All retain bold and strong color art fronts.
