Item Description
11x23" art board has pencil and ink original artwork by Ernie Chan. Story by Roy Thomas. Ernie Chan (1940-2012), born and sometimes credited as Ernie Chua, was a Filipino-American comics artist, known for work published by Marvel Comics and DC Comics, including many Marvel issues of series featuring Conan the Barbarian. Arguably one of the best artists to draw the character. Five panel strip features a man falling to his death in the first panel. Conan battles a four armed shadow demon that transforms into two figures in the last panel. Also a great classic female portrait in panel four. Lt. aging/wear. A crease between panels likely from mailing at right. Title and date stamped at top margin. Exc.
