Item Description
Folded 19.75x25.5" sheet of Mi-Teintes art paper has multi-media, including pastel crayon, preliminary design for the cover to Wild Cards graphic novel. c. 1991 Epic/Marvel Comics. This piece is signed Walker at lower right. Layout was carried over to tighter published cover. 11x14.5" image size. Winged character is paste-up applied to painting. Lt. aging/wear. Some loose edges on paste-up. VF. Also includes four original colored pages w/negative film overlays, three original color transparencies and several pieces of original correspondence about the Wild Card series including a type written piece from creator George R. R. Martin and numerous items from Lewis Shiner. All are Exc. Gary and Dawn Guzzo Collection.
