9" tall. c. 1795. Transfers include 13 star American eagle under spout; Gen. Washington resting his foot atop an allegorical British lion w/text in a banner reading "By Virtue And Valour, We Have Freed Our Country, Extended Our Commerce And Laid The Foundations Of A Great Empire" and Washington portrait w/liberty and justice flanking framed by 15 state names in banners. Vertical cracks emanating from center of base seen on interior and professionally repaired on exterior. Restoration to spout and handle. VG. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
