Item Description
6" tall. Porcelain c. 1780s. Bust of William Pitt the Elder w/transfers of Cupid crowning him w/a wreath. Transfers flanking are of an armed Minerva at left and and the personification of Fame blowing trumpets at right. Expertly restored vertical hairline crack affecting the transfer of Cupid and scattered minor touch ups not affecting transfers. Fine. Rare. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
