Item Description
10-7/8x14.75" artboard has mixed media original art for coloring book published exclusively for the Spanish market. Artist is unknown. Dinosaucers is a 1987 US/Canadian animated TV series developed and produced by DIC Animation City in association w/Lightyear Entertainment and Coca-Cola Telecommunications. The show only ran for one season, airing a total of 65 episodes Sept. 14 to Dec. 11, 1987. Despite its short life in the US, it enjoyed popularity in foreign markets, especially Brazil, where a number of now rare toys were produced. Coloring book was subtitled "The Superhero" and shows three members the villainous Tyrannos - leader Genghis Rex, Terrible Dactyl and Ankylo - viewing monitor as caped superhero flies toward them. The published coloring book also had cover text that translates to "Now On TV," effectively dating art to c. 1987. Exc.
