Item Description
Double-sided 32x33.5" hand-painted black and white wooden storefront sign. Hung prominently (hanging brackets still present) outside of the fictional newspaper business of the same name. The fictional town of Jerusalem's (Salem's) Lot is located within Cumberland County, and the sign prominently features the Portland Head Light, the iconic lighthouse located on the coast of Cumberland County, Maine. In the film, The Cumberland Ledger is the town's only newspaper. This sign is highly visible in the film when the horde of vampires descend upon the town towards the end of the film. The sign was production aged and weathered to fit the period of the film's 1970s small New England town. General handling wear. Due to size and/or weight of this item, shipping charges may be substantial. Please contact us w/any shipping inquiries prior to close of auction. Provenance Above the Line Production Rentals and Hollywood Salvage and comes w/Hake's COA.
