Item Description
Pair of 8.5x11" certificates, both in similar styles as those in previous lots. First certificate is a mid-1950s version that came as a special insert w/boxed Superman playsuits by Funtime Playwear. It features three notable differences; the coloring is noticeably different, the image of Superman is a more modern depiction than the classic early one used on the other certificates and it has the facsimile signature of Superman rather than Clark Kent. Unused but shows moderate handling wear. Fine/VF. Scarce variety. Second certificate was issued w/the 1965 Supermen of America club kit, the final issue of this long-running club. Unused and never folded file copy. NM and rare as such. Danny Fuchs Collection.
