4.5" long ribbon w/large "Boston, Mass." union bug attached under spring pin on reverse. Creases affecting bottom r/l and two fabric scuffs in the red and blue fields not affecting text. Fine. 1.25" real photo cello button w/partial "A. R. Lopez" back paper is NM as made. Roosevelt was nominated as the newly formed Progressive Party's presidential candidate on Aug. 5 less than two weeks before he addressed a crowd of 15,000 at this "Aug. 17, 1912" event in Point of Pines Boston, MA.
