Item Description
16.75x23.75" illustration board contains 10 panel strip published Jan. 7, 1968. Pen and ink art by John Dirks, though strip is signed twice by his father, Katzenjammer Kids creator Rudolph Dirks. Though John Dirks eventually took over "The Captain And The Kids" from his father in 1958, his father continued to sign his name to the strips up until his death in 1968. As with previous item, strip used the same characters from "The Katzenjammer Kids." This strip features Hans and Fritz with The Captain exploring footprints on a beach. Title and copyright paste-overs remain. Some small stain spots at center of strip. Margins have light handling wear, but art is Exc. overall.
