Item Description
Distributed over a three year period from 1909-11, the T206 White Borders series measuring 1-7/16x2-5/8" is considered to be the most widely collected tobacco issue of the early 20th century. Ed Walsh was a star pitcher for the Chicago White Sox ball club from 1904-1916, finishing his career w/the lowest career ERA for a starting pitcher in baseball history at 1.82 and was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946.
