Item Description
These 5.25" square flannels were issued in 1914 wrapped around several popular brands of tobacco. Back in the day, many of these were sewn together to form blankets, thus the name of this series was born along with the B18 designation by the American Card Catalogue. Different color combinations were used with regards to the pennants and infield background. Full figure Cobb image is flanked by pennants for "Detroit" and "A.L." Encapsulated backwards by Beckett. Ty Cobb was one of baseball's all-time greats and an inaugural member of the Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 1936.
