Item Description
Each is 2.25". Glossy w/light diagonal scratch on the bottom of the "M" in "Obama" that is only seen in reflected light. Exc. Rush pin is NM. Obama began his elected political career as a State Senator in 1997. In 2000 he challenged Bobby Rush, the incumbent Democrat, for the 1st Congressional District of Illinois. Outside of some Presidential Primary losses Bobby Rush is the only candidate to beat Obama head to head. Following this defeat, Obama remained in the State Senate until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004, and to the presidency in 2008 and 2012.
