Item Description
Unlike #1691, the 7" figure all in wood, this larger 9" size features a wood body but w/molded composition head most typically subject to cracking and crazing over the decades. For that reason, this piece has been restored and the head is in gorgeous NM condition. The paint has been redone on the red shoes and there are a couple of near-microscopic touchups to Mickey's chest decal which now displays 100% complete and includes the very tiny lettering "Des. Pat. 82802 By Walt Disney." The cloth-covered wire tail on the figure is original although the black wooden end cap is a replacement, very close to the original. A NM, unrestored example would likely exceed $1500. This visually NM example opens much more affordably.
