Item Description
11x14" sketch paper contains pencil and ink commission of Abby from Swamp Thing by John Thomas Totleben. His first success in American comics, and still his best-known work, was as the inker of pencilled art by Stephen R. Bissette for the DC Comics title The Saga of The Swamp Thing, when the series was being written and reinvented by Alan Moore. Totleben and Bissette joined the series in 1983 shortly before Moore. Signed at bottom right by Totleben. Dated 1987. Lt. aging/wear. Exc.
